The LT-1 airframe is 90% carbon fiber. Our carbon layup is stronger than steel for it's weight, and when it's all said and done, the aircraft's empty mass is a feather light 480lbs including oil.
This isn't your grandpa's 60hp four stroke. The HKS 700e is a two cylinder multi-valve gear driven automotive fueled power plant, burning 3 gallons an hour at full power cruising at an eye watering 160 mph.
We take care of the hard stuff. The majority of the airframe and parts are pre-molded, requiring the builder merely bond the components together like a large model airplane. No large scale fabrication required.
